School Council

School Council 2016/17.

The School Council is made up of Year 1 to Year 6 children.

At the beginning of the autumn term, we put ourselves forward and then each class held a ballot to elect their class representative.

We meet once a fortnight and sometimes more when needed. We ensure the children have a voice in our school by listening to their views and then discuss these at our meetings and with teaching staff as necessary.

Our school council includes the following children: Ashton, Dylan, Freyja, Jake, Maddison, Millie, Poppy, Reece, Ruby and Scott.

We decided to raise money for The Poppy Appeal. We raised £37.46.

We raised £170.86 for Children In Need by organising a 'Show Your Spots' day.

We raised £150.57 for the Breast Cancer Campaign by having a sponsored 'Wear Pink Day'.
