Special Event - The PCSO Visits Fairfield

11 November 2015

On Wednesday 11th November, the PCSO visited our school and carried out a workshop with each class.

We learned all about diversity and how important it is to understand that everybody is different in their own unique way. In pairs, we created a Venn diagram and explored the differences and similarities between us. We discussed that these difference could include: nationality, religion, gender, hair colour, date and birth and even hobbies.

Not only did we explore the difference between people but we also enjoyed enjoyed learning about how working dogs differ to our everyday pet dogs.

The PCSO were very keen to answer our questions, which lead to some very formative discussions. Do working dogs retire? Why do people judge each other?
